President, Mathews Industries

Scott Mathews is the founder and President of Mathews Industries. Scott started in the metal fabrication industry in 1987 as a fabricator / certified welder after his discharge from the United States Air Force. Scott worked his way through the chairs in the industry starting with field supervisor & shop foreman. Then after some additional schooling, he began the transition to the office with a new position in AutoCAD design & engineering.  From here, Scott began estimating, purchasing, job costing, project management and business development. After several years in the industry Scott Mathews moved into positions as general manager and vice president of metal fabrication facilities.

In 2019, Scott Mathews started Mathews Industries as a brokerage company in the metal fabrication industry. After several successful projects nationwide, Scott also started a trucking business to deliver the fabricated items. That business became a stand-alone company in a short time and has experienced exceptional growth since its inception. The third addition to the Mathews Industries brand is the Consulting business. Scott Mathews has over 36 years of experience in the metal fabrication industry. He has worked for several companies in the pacific northwest over that time. His fabrication knowledge spans multiple industries from mining and aggregate equipment, food service and seafood processing equipment in factories and on-board ocean going processing vessels. Metal shredding equipment and processes, structural steel and field installation, commercial and residential kitchen equipment and construction, Just to name a few. Scott brings a knowledge of each industry along with the equipment and how to build it efficiently. Scott has contacts nationwide for supplies, specialty parts, and best pricing solutions as well. Scott has partnered with several industry professionals involved in every aspect of the metal fabrication world and can assist you with solutions to many questions you may have. ​

Mathews Industries has partnered with Kevin Larkin AWS CWI since 2003 and owner of KL Steel Consulting to provide our customers with AWS CWI services for writing welding procedures and certifications for your processes and personnel. We can provide project QC inspections, Weld Mapping WPS's & Bolting.
